Obama’s CyberSecurity Challenge

I was able to watch the House Committee on Homeland Security Subcommittee on Emerging Threats, Cybersecurity, and Science and Technology hearing today.  The recent resignation by Rod Beckstrom citing the NSA’s unwillingness to allow others such as himself to pursue appropriate defenses of our cyberspace infrastructure was the straw that broke the camel’s back, which made his position as director of the National Cybersecurity Center untenable.  With Amit Yoran, former Director of the NCSD, on the witness panel and Rod in the audience, it was like a Bush administration cyber security refugee camp.  I could see some other current DHS Continue reading Obama’s CyberSecurity Challenge
